Lochaber is world renowned for big stage mountain biking, however few know the true extent of what is available besides the trail centres. Join us and find yourself on hidden single-track rides of a truly world-class status. Look out towards beautiful sea lochs and alpine vistas such as the North Face of Ben Nevis. You will start your ride from a trail centre however you will soon find yourself involved with more thrilling challenges and remote trails than you would find at a resort.

Timing?
A typical day will start at 9:00am with the aim to be riding by 9:30am, this gives us plenty of time to welcome you, get our bikes set-up and equipment sorted. Lunch is not provided, however your guide will discuss the best options available. A regular tour will last in the region of six hours.
Location?
Typically our Tours take place around Lochaber, however we have a vast knowledge of other venues elsewhere in the Highlands of Scotland and love taking riders all over so please do not hesitate to ask. Your guide will always arrange to meet you at the most convenient location to the trail head. We will discuss this with you, give directions and come to a suitable arrangement via email.
Equipment?
For every tour, we expect our customers to wear a suitable helmet and protective equipment whilst riding. This tour is more remote so please pack enough food and water for the day, plus more for emergencies. Weather is changeable, so pack enough warm, waterproof and breathable layers to see you through the day. if you are unsure of exactly what to bring just ask, additionally you can view our recommended kit list here.
We expect that you arrive with your bike in full working order, this will maximise the amount of contact time you will have with your guide. We do carry spares but please bring an inner tube and any other specific parts for your bike, e.g. hanger and brake pads. Bike hire is also available from our partners, so please do not hesitate to ask.
Ratio?
The normal ratio on this tour is 1-4 people, however we do offer an additional price for 5-8 people as a group booking.
